Passing Score: The score earned on the CSCP examination is reported as a scaled score, ranging from zero to 150.
The minimum acceptable passing score on the CSCP scale is 105. The passing score reported is NOT a percentage value. The passing standard has been established by a panel of securities compliance experts, and the ability level that defines the passing standard is the same for all CSCP administrations.
Scaled Score: A scaled score is a transformed raw test score (the number of test questions answered correctly given the length of the test taken); its purpose is to report scores for all examinees on a consistent scale regardless of the exam’s version. Please note that a scaled score is neither the number of questions, nor the percentage of questions, answered correctly.
