We explored this question with 15 local Mauritian Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) that produce handmade and designed objects for tourists and local consumers. The SMEs were a diverse group of producers ranging from fashion, accessories, food and beverages, care products, books, and 3D printed coral reefs.
