The Collaborating Centre on Sustainable Consumption and Production (CSCP) is an independent, non-profit “Think and Do Tank” committed to providing collaborative solutions for a sustainable planet.

A team of currently approx. 50 multi- disciplinary professionals contributes to the worldwide activities of the Centre. As a result of continuous growth over the last years, we are looking to strengthen our team with a new Human Resources manager.

Starting date:  immediately (please indicate your possible starting date)
Working hours:  up to 100%
Duration:  2 years, an extension is intended
Location:  Wuppertal, Germany

Your tasks:

  • Human Resources planning and recruiting
  • Human resource development
  • Strategic human resources development and retention
  • Personnel service
  • Act as contact person for employees at the CSCP on contract, vacation and salary matters. Here you will work closely with Controlling and the Management Assistance
  • Reporting
  • Personnel-related evaluations and reports, generating input for management decisions  

You have

  • A completed education/degree in business and/or organisational field
  • Several years of relevant professional experience, ideally in an international working environment
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Team spirit, assertiveness and proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Language skills

Since German and English are the working languages of the CSCP, therefore fluency in both written and spoken German and English is required.

Salary:

We apply the collective agreement of the federal states (TV-L) NRW.
