Position of Project Manager (m/f/d) – Sustainable Lifestyles Team We are recruiting for a Project Manager to join the Sustainable Lifestyles (SL) team in our office in Wuppertal, Germany. Starting Date: 1. February 2025 Working time: up to 80%, negotiable Duration: 2 years, with the opportunity of extension Location: Wuppertal, Germany, with up to 40% home office Languages: English and German The Collaborating Centre on Sustainable Consumption and Production (CSCP) is an international nonprofit Think and Do tank that works with businesses, policy makers, partner organisations and civil society towards “Investing in a good life”. Our team of 60 multi-disciplinary professionals offer expertise and identify, develop, and mainstream promising sustainable solutions. Read more about us on our website: www.cscp.org Your tasks will be: Project management (team leadership, resource planning, budgeting, administration, structuring & organising work and documents) Engagement of project partners and external stakeholders (communication and collaboration with consortium partners, reporting, presentations in consortium meetings, engagement with external stakeholders via different communication channels and via workshops and larger events) Design of capacity building programmes and delivery of interactive workshops and webinars Research work in sustainable lifestyles and behaviours, more specifically sustainable diets, food waste, the circular economy and / or digitalization with a purpose Leading acquisition efforts to raise public and/or private funds You have: Completed tertiary degree in a sustainability, social science, psychology or business-related field Content experience in one or several of these topics: sustainability in general, sustainable lifestyles and behaviours, food (waste), circular economy, citizen engagement and stakeholder processes, circular textiles, digitalisation with a purpose. Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience. International experience will be viewed favourably Experience working autonomously in project management and in workshop design and facilitation Team spirit and a can-do attitude Good interpersonal skills, willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve organisational goals, ability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with different national and cultural backgrounds with sensitivity and respect for diversity Proficiency in MS-Office programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) Language: As English is the working language of the CSCP, fluency in written and spoken English is necessary. As the Project Manager might also be involved in German speaking projects, proficiency in German is equally required.
