Your tasks:
At the CSCP student assistants take on a proactive role and work on a variety of tasks, including:

  • Support ongoing projects through activities like internet-based research of source material as well as literature and content creation
  • Engage in content development for presentations, reports, publications, news items or social media content
  • Conduct research on new funding sources for different projects that the CSCP wants to implement and support in gathering administrative information for proposals for different donors
  • Support the preparation and facilitation of workshops
  • Interact with other CSCP activities in cross-team collaboration

What you bring on board:

We are looking for students assistants with:

  • Good academic and analytical skills and the ability to draft clearly and concisely
  • Good interpersonal skills: capable of working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve organisational goals, with the ability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with different national and cultural backgrounds with sensitivity and respect for diversity.
  • Working knowledge and familiarity with sustainability in general is a plus, though not mandatory.
  • Knowledge working with AI is also a plus.
  • Good skills in basic computer usage, including internet searches. In particular, good working knowledge of MS Office-Suite and e-mail applications etc.
  • Good written and spoken English & German language skills – although we do work on several German projects, English is the primary working language at CSCP
  • Availability to join our team for 6 months with a possibility of extension based on performance

Joining the CSCP as an intern
You can apply for a voluntary or compulsory internship required to complete your academic qualification. Our minimal requirements are:

  • A first working experience e.g. in research, portfolio assessment, supply chain management, marketing, customer relation management and social media management
  • A completed first degree (e.g. Bachelor) in a relevant discipline, such as business administration, political science, economics, social psychology, behavioural science, sociology or other related fields

Renumeration for Student Assistants and Interns at the CSCP? 
Student Assistants’ and Interns’ work is regulated by law. They receive a stipend similar to the guidelines provided by the University of Wuppertal.
