Student Assistant SBE Team The Collaborating Centre on Sustainable Consumption and Production (CSCP) gGmbH is offering position as a student assistant in the Sustainable Business and Entrepreneurship (SBE) team. hours: up to 19hrs/week Timeframe: open from 1st of August 2022 Location: Wuppertal, Germany Centre: The CSCP is an international nonprofit Think and Do tank that works with businesses, policy makers, partner organisations and civil society towards a good life. A team of currently 65 multi-disciplinary professionals contributes to the worldwide activities of the Centre. Read more about us: www.cscp.org/about-us Job Description The student will support with the SBE team colleagues to support the delivery of a wide range of national and international projects, targeting energy issues on the African continent, solving sustainability challenges in the chemistry sector and more. Tasks The student assistant will partly support the project „CSR.digital“ funded by the NRW Ministry of Economic Affairs and the European Union: (https://csr-digital.org/). The project has a focus on digitalization and sustainability and targets SMEs in the state of NRW Support with the research for and writing of project proposals on sustainable business, especially in the chemistry sector and in energy related projects on the African continent Various research and support tasks in the different projects of the SBE team What we offer Insights into project management and research Insights into sustainable business on different levels and in a variety of sectors An international, multidisciplinary and young team with many different cultural backgrounds, experiences and knowledge An open and friendly working atmosphere Many possibilities to contribute with your own ideas Qualification requirements First working experience e.g. in research, portfolio assessment, supply chain management, marketing, customer relation management and social media management Completed first part of degree (“Grundstudium“ or at least in the 2nd year of your Bachelor study) Good written and spoken English skills are preferred Interest and ideally experience in the topic of digital and sustainable transformation Interest and ideally experience in the chemistry sector Other requirements Teamwork-spirit Independent execution of tasks Previous work experience (e.g. internships, assistant jobs) are advantageous Language The first working language at the CSCP is English; therefore fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Additionally, for this position also fluency in German (written and spoken) is required.
