Student Assistant SIPS-Team The Collaborating Centre on Sustainable Consumption and Production (CSCP) gGmbH is offering position as a student assistant in the Sustainable Infrastructures Products and Services (SIPS) team for up to 19 hours per week. Time frame: beginning of July 2023 (date to be confirmed) Duration: 6 months, with possibility of extension Location: Wuppertal, Germany (remote work partially possible) The Collaborating Centre on Sustainable Consumption and Production (CSCP) is an international nonprofit Think and Do tank that works with businesses, policy makers, partner organisations and civil society towards a good Life. Read more about us on the website: www.cscp.org/about-us Tasks The major task of the candidate will be to support the team in activities that combine: support ongoing projects and proposal writing through activities like internet-based research of source material and literature and content creation content development in topics like circular economy, stakeholder engagement, sustainable supply chains, sustainability assessments and other SIPS-related topics interaction with other CSCP activities in cross-team collaboration Competencies Good academic and analytical skills. Ability to draft clearly and concisely, very good language skills. Good interpersonal skills, works collaboratively with colleagues to achieve organisational goals, ability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with different national and cultural backgrounds with sensitivity with respect for diversity. Working knowledge and familiarity with sustainability in general, and entrepreneurship, business and industry in particular is a plus, though not mandatory. Other desirable skills: Good skills in basic computer usage, including internet searches. In particular, good working knowledge of MS Office-Word, Excel, Power Point, Intra-Internet, E-mail applications etc. Language The first working language is English, therefore fluency in written and spoken English is necessary. Having full or near native fluency in German will be an additional advantage.
