Dimitra joined the CSCP in 2019 as part of the Sustainable Infrastructure, Products and Services (SIPS) team.

Her expertise lies in sustainable value chains, circular economy, as well as stakeholder dialogues and engagement. Dimitra’s research interests revolve around exploring sustainable packaging solutions, building resilient food systems and fostering social innovation to facilitate the transition to more sustainable, circular models. At the CSCP, she is currently involved in the SCALIBUR project, working on helping cities improve the urban biowaste recycling by transforming biowaste into high value-added products.

Dimitra holds a B.Sc. in Geology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences from the University of Freiburg. In her master’s thesis, Dimitra analysed the political discourse around the new German Packaging Act and identified and delved into the barriers and opportunities for its implementation. She is fluent in German and English.

Dimitra is a Greek national.
