She is particularly passionate about complex issues: her goal is to tell inspiring, effective stories and to show ways to engage in dialogue. Her background of over 25 years is in business, NGOs and administration. She gained extensive experience in marketing, design and public relations as well as sales and project management. In her private life, she is interested in circular economy, urban planning and botany, as well as photography. She has a degree in Earth Sciences / Physical Geography with a focus on geobotany, remote sensing, climatology and hydrology from the University of Trier. Ellen speaks German, English and Italian. She is a German national.
