He has over 10 years of experience in the fields of product management as well as sales and marketing and has worked as project manager and team leader for Multinational Enterprises, Small and Medium Enterprise as well as Non-governmental organisations. Patrick joined the CSCP 2015 and is focussing on Corporate and Digital Responsibility, multi-stakeholder engagement and sustainable business model innovation. Among other things he works with corporations on sustainable packaging solutions, collaborates with SMEs to define the opportunities and challenges of digitalisation and scouts startups with innovative sustainability solutions. Since 2011 he moderates the stakeholder advisory board of Nestlé Germany. Before joining the CSCP, Patrick successfully completed an MBA programme in Sustainability Management at Leuphana University Lüneburg. He also holds a master’s degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of Zurich and spent several years abroad, namely in New Zealand, France, Brazil, Portugal and Switzerland. Patrick is fluent in German, English and speaks some French and Portuguese as well. He lectured on innovation and change at the European Management School and is well versed in innovation methods such as design thinking and scenario planning. Patrick Bottermann is a German national.
