Sara joined the CSCP in March 2020 as to support the Creative team and since 2022 also supports the SIPS team.

She holds a double-bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design and Architecture from Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Bogota, Colombia. Sara is highly interested in the social possibilities of design and creative approaches to make cities more sustainable. In order to gain experience in the field, she joined the well-being and co-design Lab hosted by Koc University, in Istanbul, where she conducted a research project of food and urban engagement.

In 2022, Sara got her Master’s degree in Integrated Design with a focus on Social and Public Innovation at the Köln International School of Design KISD. She is involved in projects on social service design, citizen engagement, food sustainability, gender equality and the future of work.

Sara is motivated by her belief that to be successful projects must be integral, considering both the community and the sustainability of the built environment. She also believes in the potential of design to positively influence culture and society.

Sara is a Colombian national.
