For the twelfth year in a row, the innovation award “Bio-based Material of the Year” will be granted to the innovative bio-based chemicals and materials industry for finding new applications and markets for their bio-based materials. After three years of operation, the CSR Hub NRW has bundled the most significant CSR tools and best practices in an easy to use tool box for startups and small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs). Sustainable lifestyles remain a touchy subject, often avoided in decisions and actions towards a sustainable future. A new report makes the argument that changes in our consumption patterns and lifestyles are inevitable, and does the numbers crunching to demonstrate the magnitude of potential changes in lifestyles needed in order to achieve the 1.5-degree celsius aspirational target of the Paris Agreement on climate change.
