The CSCP Co-authors the Policy Paper on Sustainable Consumption as Part of the #Think2030 30×30 Actions for a Sustainable Europe.

The policy paper, which is part of a series covering all major environmental challenges, not only shows that we need to change what we consume, but also how, how much and why! Besides spelling out the challenges, the paper also maps out what changes in European policies could help citizens live prosperous, peaceful and healthy lives by 2050, while sustaining the 80% reduction in per capita resource use. The CSCP and the BMWi Show How Mittelstand Digital Competence Centres Can Be Pivotal in Mainstreaming Sustainability

Mittelstand-Digital, an initiative of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy, heads 25 different Competence Centres on different digitalisation topics throughout Germany. When they all came together in November, Thomas Wagner of the CSCP and Stefan Liebenberg from BMWi presented the potentials of digitalisation for sustainable business practices and urged Competence Centres to think sustainability and digitalisation together in their projects. SCALIBUR Project Kick Off: Promoting the Recycling of Urban Bio Waste for a Circular Economy

In the EU over 100 million tonnes of bio waste are thrown away each year – around 200 kg per person.* The majority of this waste goes to landfills, causing major environmental problems. Action Alliance for Sustainable Bananas (ABNB) Brings Retailers and Producer Countries at One Table

At its stakeholder workshop in November in Berlin, the ABNB was happy to welcome the Colombian ambassador and an important Columbian producer association to start a dialogue on sustainable banana production with German retailers.
