Businesses in Wuppertal Region Prepare for Futuristic Energy Tariff System to Support German “Energiewende”

At CSCP we are supporting local energy consuming industry and the Wuppertal municipality utility company WSW to design suitable dynamic energy tariffs. This will help implement the German “Energiewende” — a shift to renewables — as it will help align the demand side with the frequently weather-dependent supply of renewable energy. Due to appealing prices and high trust in major retail chains, store brand products can be found in almost every European household. In 2015 the share of supermarket store brand products was estimated to reach 40 percent of all EU food retail sales. The 10th Anniversary Unconference of the CSCP attracted more than 500 people joining us onsite and attending via webcast.
