Businesses in Wuppertal Region Prepare for Futuristic Energy Tariff System to Support German “Energiewende”

At CSCP we are supporting local energy consuming industry and the Wuppertal municipality utility company WSW to design suitable dynamic energy tariffs. This will help implement the German “Energiewende” — a shift to renewables — as it will help align the demand side with the frequently weather-dependent supply of renewable energy. High-level German Stakeholders Taking Action Against Food Waste

The German Steering Committee of the EU research project REFRESH successfully finalised the Framework for Action to combat food waste across the whole value chain. Meeting for the second time, the Committee members include Metro, Nestlé Germany, Penny, Sodexo, the relevant ministries on the national and the regional level, the German Council for Sustainable Development, Verbraucherzentrale NRW and FH Münster University of applied Sciences, supported by Foodsharing e.V., WWF Germany and the University Witten/Herdecke.
