His work focuses on projects at the interface of digitalization, circular economy, and governance. He manages multi stakeholder projects with a strong focus on circular cities, addressing the challenges of advancing urban circularity across public authorities, businesses, and civil society. His work focuses on organizational transformation towards more sustainable business and governance practices, including Corporate Digital Responsibility, digitally enabled supply chain transparency, and the integration of sustainability into strategic planning and portfolio decisions. In this context, he places a particular emphasis on sustainable public procurement as a strategic lever for circular economy objectives and the alignment of public and private actors. Mike holds a Master’s degree in Management with a focus on Marketing Management from the University of Hohenheim and in Ethics, Economics, Law, and Politics from Ruhr University Bochum.
