He is driven by the conviction that sustainability should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their social background. Tackling social inequality and finding ways to engage and motivate people across all walks of life are at the heart of his work, with collaboration being the key ingredient that makes lasting change possible. Before joining CSCP, Niklas gained practical experience as an intern and student assistant in sustainability management and consulting at the mib Management Institut Bochum, where he helped companies uncover sustainability opportunities and develop tailored solutions, worked with reporting frameworks such as ESRS and VSME, and explored how AI can be integrated into processes to make them more efficient. Earlier, he completed a voluntary environmental service year at the Umweltzentrum Westfalen, focusing on environmental education and care. These experiences shaped his appreciation for open communication and inclusive dialogue on sustainability, both within organisations and across society. Niklas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sustainable Development with a focus on Economics from Bochum University of Applied Sciences (B.Sc.) and is currently completing a Master of Science in Sustainable Development at the same university. Outside of work, he enjoys sports, particularly football and padel, and is learning to play the piano. Niklas is a German national.
