Rami joined the Sustainable Lifestyles (SL) team of the CSCP in September 2025.

He supports a variety of international and local projects related to sustainable lifestyles and behavioural change. His work includes research activities, data analysis, stakeholder mapping, and supporting project implementation across different thematic areas.

Rami holds a B.Sc. in Psychology from the University of Wuppertal and is currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Psychology with a specialization in Work, Environment and Health. His academic interests lie in understanding human behaviour within complex systems, guided by a multidisciplinary interest in social psychology, sustainability, and behavioural science. He is particularly interested in prosocial behaviour, effective altruism, moral and political divides, and the factors that shape cooperation and collective action.

Prior to joining the CSCP, Rami gained research experience in social psychology, contributing to projects on minority misrecognition, microaggressions, and intergroup relations. He also worked at the International Office of the University of Wuppertal, supporting international students and intercultural exchange initiatives.
Rami works at the CSCP because he is passionate about understanding complex social and environmental challenges and exploring how psychological insights can contribute to more sustainable, cooperative, and equitable societies. He values interdisciplinary collaboration and enjoys working on projects that connect research with practical impact.

Rami is a Syrian citizen.
