CSCP at EU-INNOVATE “Supporting Innovation For Sustainable Lifestyles”

As a part of the INNEON Network for Eco-Innovation Financing, the CSCP was invited join the EU-InnovatE workshop ‘Supporting innovation for sustainable lifestyles’ to discuss the role of the consumer as innovator and trendsetter in social and environmental sustainability processes.

The workshop presented the first results of the three-years research project EU-InnovatE that involved 12,000 consumers in all European countries, business leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators, academics and discussed these with sustainability experts from Central Europe (especially Poland, Germany, Estonia and Hungary). It was intended to foster discussion on sustainability between top researchers, managers, public administration and civil society representatives in relation to:

  • What might sustainable lifestyles look like in Europe over the coming decades, and how can we enable the radical shifts that are needed to make the transition?
  • How to enable innovators of the future to create the products and services that sup-port the transition to a significantly lower impact way of living, and to bring those inno-vations to scale?
  • What role does sustainability innovation play in the value chain and in the development processes?

The workshop took place on 18 March in Kozminski University in Warsaw. For more information about the event and the EU-InnovatE project, please click here.
