Sustainable Business Model Innovation for Start-Ups from NRW Germany @csrhub_nrw The CSR Hub NRW advances the goal of supporting today’s innovative start-ups to become tomorrow’s sustainable business champions. After a successful kick-off workshop in March 2016, the CSR Hub NRW invited entrepreneurs from North Rhine-Westphalia to the CSCP premises on the 5th July to jointly tackle the complex issues of today’s supply chain management and identify sustainable and innovative solutions for successful business models. Digitalisation, technological innovations, and the circular economy are constantly bringing new ways forward to design and manage a supply chain. New trends, such as an increased demand for local products or the emergence of prosumers, have businesses and start-ups rethink their business models and value chains. Meanwhile, critical customers or trade partners demand transparency and sustainability in today’s products. In this context, the CSR Hub NRW creates an interactive workshop in which the participants dive into this new ecosystem of opportunities and challenges to shape their business for future success. During the workshop successful regional start-ups reported on their supply chain experience. The workshop featured inputs of representatives from: Emma’s Enkel and Fond of Bags. In addition, there was a general introductory briefing on venture capital financing by an actual business angel from the network of the CSR NRW Hub partner BAND (Business Angels Network Germany e.V.). Find out more about it at the CSR NRW Hub website: http://www.csrhub-nrw.de/workshop-nachhaltiges-lieferkettenmanagement-am-5-juli-in-wuppertal/#more-422 In addition to the workshops, we will soon be launching webcasts so you can follow the latest CSR content online!
