Join Us at the EU Green Week Panel Discussion: The ICT Sector in Action for Circular Economy on 31 May 2022!

Digital technologies are crucial to the EU sustainability agenda. In particular, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) companies have an important role to play in turning digital innovation into an endeavour that follows purpose and the solutions deriving thereof into enablers of the sustainable transformation. The action-oriented policy dialogue “Accelerating our sustainable futures through digital innovation“ as part of the EU Green Week (31 May – 5 June 2022) will focus on the framework conditions, policy innovations, and industrial solutions that can accelerate the greening of ICT infrastructure and ultimately guarantee a sustainable future for all.

Policymakers, business leaders, environment experts, academics, civil society, and government officials are invited to join the debate and explore opportunities on how technology can enable the EU in addressing pressing environmental challenges.

Through keynote speeches and panel discussions, the event will address the following key questions:

  • What are the necessary framework conditions to enable greening of ICT?
  • How can policy innovations facilitate speed and scale for greening ICT?
  • What are the industrial solutions/innovations that can have a big impact?
  • What other innovations could help in making greening of ICT future-proof?

The CSCP Executive Director, Michael Kuhndt will be part of the panel discussion “The ICT sector in action for Circular Economy“ along with Assunção Cristas, Head of ESG Integrated Platform at VDA and Ke Wang, Program Lead at the Platform for Accelerating the Circular Economy (PACE).
