Call for Student Assistant – SBE Team (m/f/d) The Collaborating Centre on Sustainable Consumption and Production (CSCP) is an independent, non-profit “Think and Do Tank” committed to providing collaborative solutions for a sustainable planet. A team of currently approx. 60 multi-disciplinary professionals contributes to the worldwide activities of the Centre. Read more about us on the website: www.cscp.org . To strengthen our team in 2024 we are offering a position as a student assistant for up to 19 hours per week. We are seeking a motivated and inquisitive student assistant to join our Sustainable Business and Entrepreneurship (SBE) project team. Tasks The major task of the candidate will be to support the SBE team in activities such as: Support ongoing projects through activities like internet-based research of source material and literature and content creation Content development for presentations, reports, publications Research on new funding sources for different projects that the CSCP wants to implement and support in gathering administrative information for proposals for different funders Support of workshop preparation and facilitation Interaction with other CSCP activities in cross-team collaboration Competencies Good academic and analytical skills. Ability to draft clearly and concisely, very good language skills. Good interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve organisational goals, ability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with different national and cultural backgrounds with sensitivity with respect for diversity. Working knowledge and familiarity with sustainability in general is a plus, though not mandatory. Other desirable skills: Good skills in basic computer usage, including internet searches.
