Arne joined the Sustainable Business and Entrepreneurship Team at the CSCP in 2021. His focus is on Corporate Digital Responsibility and how to leverage digitalisation as a means for a sustainable transformation on a business and systems level. Arne’s expertise lies in developing business cases for sustainability that leverage the potential of digital technologies. He has over eight years of experience in strategic and operational business development and has worked as specialist, project manager and team lead in a digital start-up, a leading IT company, one of Europe’s largest retailers as well as for one of the most influential global development organisations. Arne’s cross-industry experience coupled with his academic background allow him to analyse sustainability issues through an interdisciplinary and holistic lens.

Arne’s vision for the future is a society in which sustainable actions are the norm and people and organisations have to work at least as hard to act unsustainably as it is for them today to act sustainably. A world in which it is economically unsustainable to have a negative impact on society and the environment and companies thrive, that have a net positive impact.

Arne studied business administration with an international focus in Germany and the United States and is currently finishing his MBA Sustainability Management studies at Leuphana University Lüneburg.
