Jannik joined the Sustainable Lifestyles (SL) team of the CSCP in 2025. He is passionate about designing, implementing and evaluating behaviour change interventions to encourage sustainable behaviours in different areas of life. His work particularly focuses on promoting sustainable purchasing decisions in areas such as mobility and nutrition, as well as promoting prosocial behaviour.

Prior to joining the CSCP, Jannik worked at the Neuroscience Institute of a large consultancy firm. In this capacity, he dealt with implicit needs influencing decision-making processes and the development of behavioural economic interventions across a diverse fields of application. His experience in project management from global IT strategy and transformation projects complements his expertise in dealing with multiple stakeholders.

Alongside his work at the CSCP, he is researching implicit needs as a driver for sustainable decision-making with the aim of answering the question of how sustainable attitudes can be more effectively translated into actual behaviour.

Jannik holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Business Information Systems and is completing a second M.Sc. in Applied Psychology with a focus on sustainability and resource orientation. Furthermore, he has profound knowledge in facilitation approaches such as Design Thinking as well as agile project management methods.

Jannik is a German national.
