Areas of expertise Her professional expertise includes business model innovation, project development and management, stakeholder engagement and multi-stakeholder collaboration, as well as co-creation and workshop facilitation. She has experience in developing learning and capacity-building formats and in translating complex sustainability topics into accessible and practical knowledge products, including courses, toolkits, templates, presentations, publications, policy briefs and recommendations. Her work also includes strategic communication and designing events that bring diverse stakeholders together, foster knowledge exchange and support practical action. Current work Currently, she works on projects that support circular and sustainable transformation across businesses, communities, and value chains. One of her focus areas is strengthening the skills needed to navigate the green and digital transformation. In this work, she collaborates closely with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), businesses, municipalities and other public-sector organisations, as well as civil society, academia, and education and training providers. By bringing these different stakeholders together, she creates opportunities for knowledge exchange, joint learning, and practical action—helping turn transformation goals into concrete solutions. Her international and cross-cultural background, with German and Latin American roots, brings diverse perspectives to collaboration and stakeholder engagement. Education Marianne holds a MSc in Agricultural and Food Economics from the University of Bonn and a BA in Latin American Studies with Economics from the University of Cologne. I believe that meaningful change starts with each of us: through the small choices we make every day and by staying true to our values, even when sustainability and climate action face headwinds.
