Marianne joined the CSCP in 2017 as part of the Sustainable Business and Entrepreneurship (SBE) team.

Marianne is doing research in the intersection of sustainability and digitalisation in the business context. She is mainly involved in scientific research, has experience in writing and analysing reports and in developing toolboxes for sustainable business models. Furthermore, she supports the organisation of international and regional online and offline networking events as well as the preparation and implementation of knowledge transfer workshops.

Marianne holds a Bachelor’s degree in Latin American Studies including Economics (B.A.) from the University of Cologne and a Master’s degree in Agricultural and Food Economics from the University of Bonn (M.Sc.). During her master studies, she developed a particular interest in ethics (especially CSR) and behavioural economics, where she became fascinated with the topic of how to nudge people towards a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle. In her master thesis she focused on the German food sharing organisation as part of the Sharing Economy and was intrigued in finding out what motivates members to participate in such movements.

Marianne is a German and Bolivian national.
