Michael joined the Sustainable Infrastructure, Products and Services (SIPS) team in 2024 and brings 15 years of professional experience from industrial practice. His core competencies lie in the areas of leadership, organisational development, operational excellence and technical innovation.

His current focus at CSCP includes projects in the areas of biodiversity and circular economy in combination with new business models.

As head of three production sites with around 100 employees, his most recent focus was on the implementation of transformation projects for the sustainable and digital design of products, services and processes for the energy market. A collaborative approach was pursued here, generating new ideas in dialogue with external working groups and implementing them in industrial practice. For example, the combination of “sufficient”, “consistent” and “efficient” sustainability strategies enabled 30% of consumables in production to be reduced.

For a successful sustainable transformation, Michael sees the greatest potential in a systemic approach that integrates sustainable, digital, social and other trends into comprehensive concepts to enable a good life for all.

Michael is a German citizen.
