Nicolas joined the Sustainable Lifestyles team of the CSCP in 2021 as a project manager with focus on sustainable behaviours and food waste. Nicolas’s core competencies and interests lie in the area of strategy development, communication campaigns, digitalisation and innovation processes, particularly in the context of sustainable food production and consumption, agricultural value chains and international development.

Before joining the CSCP, Nicolas worked for two decades as a marketing and communication expert for well-known French and German food brands and companies. In 2019 he decided to change course by founding a new consumer community and bottom-up movement “Du bist hier der Chef – Die Verbrauchermarke” to bring transparency to the food market, allow real participation for German consumers and achieve fair prices for farmers.

Nicolas studied business administration with a focus on Marketing and Sales at the Lyon Graduate School of Management. Additionally, to his work for the CSCP he is co-founder and social entrepreneur of the consumer brand “Du bist hier der Chef – Die Verbrauchermarke”.

Nicolas is a French national.
