Pawel’s main interest lies in the collaborative improvement of consumer goods’ value chains. He works with multinational companies and their stakeholders towards integrating sustainable value-added in their existing products and product portfolios, as well as with startups and young entrepreneurs in order to develop new business models to face existing challenges in potentially disruptive and innovative ways.

These activities encompass sustainability hot spots analyses for different sectors as well as the development of related measures and strategies for mitigation. Furthermore, Pawel is also involved in stakeholder councils related to sustainability

Before joining the CSCP, Pawel worked at the Wuppertal Institute in the research group on sustainable production and consumption where he assisted in the development of hot spot assessments for a broad range of product value chains.
