Join us at the Circular Futures Festival on 14 and 15 of September to Co-Create Solutions!

Circular economy approaches are becoming ever more important in responding to environmental challenges such as the climate change. Multiple actors, including policymakers, businesses, cities, civil society and other stakeholders have recognised that an orientation towards circular strategies is necessary to achieve a future-oriented and environmentally-friendly economy and society. The question is, however, what can circular strategies look like in practice and how to make them work for all?

Launched in 2021, the Circular Futures Festival will take place for the second time on 14 and 15 September 2022 to find answers to such questions and show what circular transformation can look like in practice. The event will serve as a networking platform for interested stakeholders who are professionally involved in the circular transformation to share experiences, visions, business models as well as inspire each-other to work together toward a more sustainable economy.

The Circular Futures Festival will take place as a hybrid event, in which CSCP’s Marianne Magnus-Melgar will host an online session on 14 September, 15:30-16:30 on the topic of digitalisation as an enabler for circular business models. Emphasis will be placed on how digital technologies can contribute to driving circular strategies into action in companies. To register for the event, please go here.

In addition to the online programme, an in-person local one will run in local hubs in Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Kassel and other cities with exciting events and opportunities to exchange and start new collaborations.

The festival welcomes everyone who wants to learn and exchange ideas on the topic of the circular economy: whether small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), academic researchers or civil society representatives – everyone is invited to join and become an active part of the Circular Futures Festival!
