Join us at the Online Conference of the Circular Week 2026, where we will bring together key actors to discuss levers for circular cities in a dedicated track. What this track is about This track explores how cities and regions can build the conditions for circular transformation to take root and scale. It looks beyond individual measures to the systems that enable them: the governance structures, financing mechanisms, procurement practices, partnerships and organisational capabilities that can turn circular ambitions into tangible impact. A guide into the sessions The Mind-Opening Session, “Are Cities and Regions Equipped to Leverage the Circular Economy Transformation?”, puts this challenge into perspective. It asks why cities and regions are central to long-term circular transformation and how local actors can translate ambition into lasting change. The Pioneer Sessions explore the role of circular public procurement in creating new lead markets, the frameworks cities need to enable circular transformation, and how innovative housing-exchange programmes can move from concept to scale. The programme culminates in a networking session focused on a practical question: which structures, partnerships and instruments can make municipalities truly circular-ready?
