Join Our FoodLoops Webinar on 21 March 2025: Driving Circular Food Solutions in Schools in the Baltic Sea Region

Our FoodLoops project focuses on tackling one of the biggest challenges in the Baltic Sea Region: food waste. In Lithuania alone, about 50 kg of food waste is generated per capita each year, which also represents a significant economic opportunity for creating valuable products from biowaste. At our next FoodLoops Replication Workshop on 21 March 2025, we invite schools, public authorities, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), caterers, farmers, and farmers’ associations to join us and brainstorm, explore, and co-create solutions!

At the workshop, you will learn the step-by-step process of building cooperation for circular biowaste, as implemented in the FoodLoops project and be part of interactive sessions to discuss challenges, exchange solutions for circular food systems, and create small projects defining cooperation activities and action plans for implementation.

Moreover, you can:

  • Gain valuable insights from real success stories and discover innovative circular food initiatives and best practices developed in Finland, Poland, and Lithuania through the FoodLoops project.
  • Engage in dynamic discussions to shape local cooperation projects for circular biowaste management in schools across the Baltic Sea Region region
  • Become part of the movement to reduce food waste and maximise resource efficiency, while connecting with like-minded stakeholders.

Join us by registering here and let’s explore practical strategies for creating a more sustainable future—one meal at a time.
