The UBi Dialogue Forum 2024: Charting Sustainable Futures How can businesses harness the economic power of biodiversity to address both environmental and economic challenges? Biodiversity, often underrated as an economic asset, underpins more than half of the global GDP. Its declining health poses not just an ecological crisis but an economic one as well. Our UBi project annual forum addresses this challenge by bringing together experts from business, politics, and science to discuss sustainable practices that can turn the tide. On 11 June 2024, the UBi Dialogue Forum 2024 at the Allianz Forum Berlin will provide a platform for companies to exchange ideas and develop sustainable business models. Experts from business, politics and science will come together to discuss the role of biodiversity in the modern economy. In addition to the focus on reporting, this year’s event will feature four specialist forums focusing on the challenges faced by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the industry-specific topics of tourism, construction and textiles. For businesses, particularly SMEs, these forums offer a unique opportunity to gain industry-specific knowledge and exchange ideas with leading experts. The Dialogue Forum 2024 will be opened by the German Federal Minister for the Environment, Steffi Lemke, who will address the attendees with a welcome speech.
