The Value Creation Lab in Wuppertal Has Opened its Doors

How can collaboration and circular economy practices create value for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and value networks? The Value Creation Lab in Wuppertal, which officially opened in September 2024, offers a space for key actors to come together and engage in impactful ways.

What is the Value Creation Lab Wuppertal about?

As a major component of our Digital Centre WertNetzWerke project, the Value Creation Lab combines circular value creation and digitalisation and offer opportunities for sustainable and future-proof business models. For a circular business model to succeed, it requires trust-based relationships and close collaboration between partner companies. As part of the Value Creation Lab Wuppertal, we aim to explore what this collaboration can look like in value networks and which digital tools can be of good use.

Where is the Value Creation Lab located?

The Value Creation Lab Wuppertal is part of Gut Einern, an innovative model site for sustainable living located on the outskirts of the city of Wuppertal where the community and other relevant actors are shaping the present and future of the neighbourhood together.

At the Value Creation Lab visitors can discover a permaculture farm, a vertical farm, an open-air kitchen and circular use of resources, and feel the spirit of community commitment to sustainable change.
