Jennifer has been working at the CSCP since April 2018 and is part of the Sustainable Lifestyles (SL) team.

She holds a Master’s degree in Food Sciences from Hochschule Niederrhein. During her master studies, Jennifer worked in an international project to prevent food waste. In this context, she prepared e-learning materials to sensitize employees on the topic of waste generation and avoidance. As a practical approach, she supervised a group of bachelor students in the development of a type of beer made from left-over bread.

Jennifer is keen on working towards future diets, climate-friendly lifestyles and more sustainable agricultural value chains as well as on fostering education for sustainable development. At the CSCP, she is currently involved in the “BOOM” project on sustainable job orientation in the crafts sector. Furthermore, she supports the city of Solingen to revitalize the inner city by boosting manufacturing and promoting the development, production and consumption of high-quality sustainable products within the project “Gläserne Manufaktur”. In the project “weiter_wirken”, Jennifer encourages NGOs in North Rhine-Westfalia to build capacity on behavioural research and to include this knowledge into their work for a greater efficiency of current and future projects on sustainable behaviour.

Jennifer is a German national.
