Be Part of the Next Food Transformation: Join our LIKE A PRO Workshop on 24 May in Wuppertal!

Despite growing enthusiasm for novel alternative proteins, over 90% of Europeans* still rely on conventional protein sources such as meat and related products. Our LIKE A PRO project is on a mission to change dominant dietary patterns in Europe toward healthier and more sustainable ones. The project has brought together key stakeholders to develop 7 new sustainable protein sources and a set of governance and market mechanisms aimed at further promoting innovative protein alternatives. Would you like to be part of this transformation journey? Join our LIKE A PRO workshop in Wuppertal on 24 May 2024!

The workshop is the first in a series of four, which will take place as part of the LIKE A PRO living lab in Germany. In addition to Germany, living labs will be established in all of the pilot countries – Norway, Denmark, Finland, The Netherlands, Poland, Slovenia, Greece, Spain, Turkey, Italy – and will be implemented across a timespan of one and a half years.  Through the labs, the project wants to bring together food stakeholders and consumers to learn about their needs and requirements and integrate them into the final project outputs.

During the first workshop in Germany, the project team will share details related to different food environments and pioneer solutions to make alternative protein and sustainable diets the new norm. A major theme of the workshop will be choice editing. The latter comprises approaches that seek to make unsustainable and unhealthy food choices less convenient by reducing their availability and accessibility.

Join the workshop and share your thoughts on how such approaches should be shaped to truly achieve positive change. Let us actively shape the next food transformation together – register here for the workshop here!
